Chapter Awards Criteria
HONOR CIRCLE
Members in good standing for at least two (2) consecutive years that have recruited at least one new member in current year.
EXTRA EFFORT
A first year member in good standing who has participated on at least one (1) committee in current year. Assumes tasks and goes beyond what is asked. Demonstrates ability to be creative and motivated.
RISING STAR
A member in good standing for one (1) year or more who has participated on more than one (1) committee in current year. Demonstrates leadership skills. Demonstrates a desire to increase knowledge. Demonstrates a desire to participate further.
AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR
An affiliate in good standing who has sponsored at least one (1) event in current year. Recruited at least one (1) new member in current year. Exemplifies the objectives of WCR through willingness to lend a helping hand.
MEMBER OF THE YEAR
Shall have been a REALTOR®, REALTOR®-ASSOCIATE or National Affiliate for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years. Officers are ineligible during or within one (1) year after term of office. Currently or in past has chaired a committee. Participated on at least two (2) committees. Recruited at least two (2) new members. Demonstrates leadership skills. Exemplifies the objectives of WCR. Will automatically be the local chapter’s nominee for State level Honor Circle and Member of the Year.
Annual awards are presented yearly at the December Holiday Celebration.
